Please delete if its not an appropriate subject in this section of HT. Only reason I ask here is alot of ITR owners have contacted us regarding applications for the 5 lug setup.
For the past 8 years we've been selling drag racing wheels, we occasionally get the request for 5x114 lug pattern. Unfortunately, the only choice is a custom wheel which usually runs about $350-500 each wheel.
At this time we only offer our VPD 13" in a 4x100 and there are no choices for an inexpensive drag wheel for 5 lug owners. We get asked every month for 5 lug applications but we had no plans until this summer to produce any of our wheels in 5lug pattern.
We are now in the process of making a Racing wheel in a 15x7.5 with a +20 offset. This should allow drag racers to use 23x7.5x15, 23x8.5x15, 24.5x8.5x15, or even the 26x8.5x15 M&H slicks.
The main focus is to provide an affordable wheel for drag racing or even road racing use. The target price will be about $320/pair.
Let me know what you think.
Thank you.

thanks for the replies. Any comments are welcome. We are still doing some drawings on the design. I should have a picture by next week.

We havent taken the idea that far yet. hehe. Just seeing if there is an interest in the fronts first.

**** just when I was about to part out the car because of lack of drag wheels in 5 lug...damn you. just make sure they clear the ITR brake caliper. id rather not have to worry about using a spacer. any chance you could make this an 8" wide wheel?

I agree. By making a 15x8" wheel it could double as an autox wheel...as long as it is built strong and light enough.
