ATS 1-5 gearset + 4.9FD + quaife LSD, no speed sensor gear?!
i bought a tranny that was off of a my friends race car
-94 gsr transmission
-ATS 1, 3, 4, 5 gear
-ATS 4.9 final drive gear
-Quaife LSD
now the speed sensor didn't have a plug on it, i thought to myself i could swap it out with another
when i pulled the "speed sensor", i found there was no gear inside like a regular transmission
now i'm not sure why this is, but is it because of the ATS gears?
does anyone know what i can do short of pulling the tranny apart, i JUST put it on the motor and was ready to drop it in the car

On the Prelude, the VSS is driven off of a gear on the differential. The Quaife does not include this gear, so it must be transferred from the OEM diff. From what I've seen the B Series transmissions are built similarly.
I believe he was talking about the gear on the speed sensor itself.....not the gear around the diff....but he found one!
