warped pads

Default warped pads

so i was taking off my panther plus pads and what not to clean my calipers and discovered I had a u shaped pad. it had warped. what may have caused this?

the pad may ahve gotten cocked when you originally put them in. then when you pumped the pedal they got bent.
or if they're thin its from heat and braking bressure.

Yes, I had a set of pads (Porterfield R4-S) that bent around the piston like that when they got too hot on the track.
