How come my axle on the dirvers side pops out when i make a full left turn is there something wrong my tranny fluid leaks out and it vibrates like crazy do i need a new axle or what? some times it pops out and my tranny grinds and after turning the steering wheel left to right it it goes back in and my car moves

 

Check the clip at the end of the axle where it goes into the transmission. Also, when you insert the axle, make sure it clicks in at the tranny.

 

x2, had the same prob after i did my auto/5spd tranny swap. the axle kept popin off and i went back and check it at teh tranny nd sure enough it didnt lock in all the way.

 

im thinking of expanding the clip a little bit and see what happens?

 

I'd be careful w/that. If you expand it too much it may jam in there or not go in at all. You should be able to tell if the axle has engaged within the tranny by pulling on the metal part that just went into the tranny. Don't pull on the outer CV joint as you could damage it. I usually install mine by pushing it in by hand then putting the outer shaft in the knuck and pushing it in that way also.
