Default project rhd coupe

well my friend that lives a ways a way from me did the firewall swap perfectly to a 1994 honda civic dx. he always told me he would never sell it well the day came and i got it from him as a rolling shell with no motor ar much wiring harness stuff. so i just have been getting it together and finally drove it a bit last week. just wanted to share my new toy.

I never really understood the point of RHD conversions, but if it makes you happy, that's what's important.

In the future, please limit posts in this forum to technical content, not merely photos.

Why? So you can't go through drive thrus? Use atms? Or do anything normal like the rest of us?

Way to make driving inconvenient.

I though RHD would be cool too, until I borrowed a friend's RHD jeep for a few weeks.

Never again.

Yeah, my friend has a beat-to-**** Honda NSX (shipped, not converted, not emissions legal, he runs it on dealer plates). Anyways, I never thought anything of it.

I mean you have all those ricers on here that oogle it and taht just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I mean THE REST OF THE WORLD IS RHD. The US and what, aussies & germs are the only ones that do LHD? All of Europe, all of Asia is all RHD - it's not like it's "rare" or anything.

In countries that are primarily RHD like Japan, they don't oogle and jaw drop when they see benz's (which are mostly LHD) - so I don't get why the reverse happens over here...

Haha.

As much as I wanna be a dick to you for having a B16....it is indeed turbocharged...so B16-T is pretty damn aight (opposed to the pple w/ NA B16's who think they'll own lambos)...and then on top of that you're 100% right about where the money went opposed to where it coulda gone.

:-X

If you guys can't behave, I'll have to dock and lock.

Let's pretend for a while that members here actually know how to be civil towards each other.

I dont think I would ever own a RHD vehicle (being so broke and all ), but it looks like it would be fun to drive.

I just don't see the draw. Doesn't every other driver in CA have one of these nowadays?

It does look like it was professionally done though.

As weird as it sounds - you learn in about 30 seconds.

most countries are rhd ? the only countries that are right hand drive are the uk and japan, probably a few other tiny small places, i think mauritius is also rhd

not that it makes any difference to the topic

i dont think most people with a right hand drive civic are using it to run errons like drive thoughs and banks. i would love to have a rhd one day b/c its rare, and imo pretty cool. id like a real eg6 but i dont see me droppin that much cash on a car.

looks good man.
