on my dad's TL, the garage button doesn't always work. maybe half of the time. How would I fix the problem?

have you tried reprogramming the homelink?

If that still doesn't work it may be a relay (which i dont think the HL does)

I've seen a couple get replaced in my days at the dealer so it may just need to be replaced to work properly
