Iv had my swap for a year now and everything has ran great. ZC swap in a 91 Hatch. Today it pretty much would not run. Code 8 TDC, and code 4 Crank angle sensor. When i did the swap, i had a wire backwards and it threw the same code. Now it's doing it again. Should i just replace the two sensors? Or could it be something else?

I had a code 8 from running a bad dizzy, if you've got a friend that can lend you a dizzy for a half hour I'd try that first.

 

It was my dizzy wiring. I did kind of a half *** job the first time. Got er' done right now. Runs like a champ!!

 

what was wrong with the wiring, just in case a guy searching comes upon this

 

wire prob came loose. solderin and shrink wrap ownz you!

 

There was a couple loose connectors. nice connectors and heat-shrink did the trick
