Default new car and new to the site!

i just bought a '92 eg hatchback about 3 weeks ago for $2200. it has gsr rear end conversion, lowered with coilovers, it has intake, headers, exhaust, and the motor is rebuilt. i saved up my money all summer for this car and finally pay my dad off for potting me some money. i now have another 400 bucks to blow on it and i was wondering what you guys thought about my puchase and ideas of what to do with my $400. thanks for lookin

not a bad start with that car. invest the $400 into paint.

Yeah I'm torn between wheels and a paint job. So I guess it's 3 to 2 for a paint job. Either way will be a big improvement. Good luck and congrats on your purchase. Looks promising.

i'm a low key kind of guy, so i say white. the blue would probably work as well, but it might grab unwanted attention (thieves). i've read too many threads on this site about stolen cars. imo keep it simple. congratulations.

go for champ white...leave the electron blue for the 99-00 si... besides, the white looks allot better on that car then blue in my opinion

white will also match better if in the future u decide to get carbon fiber and black wheels

Save the money. When you have ~$2000 get a good paint job.

it will be worth every penny.

go with a different color, like a grey metallic or a brown metallic. something that all other civics don't have. But being different always is noticed by theives. I say save for paint

Not a bad little car, as for your $400, keep saving.

Invest in basic maintinence as needed.

Keepin' her runnin' smooth / clean is #1 in my book.

For $400 if would invest in as many different security features for your car(if it doesnt have any). Such as alarms, kill switches, etc. It will be worth it with all the theives out there.

Spend that $400 on decent alarm, not the most expensive viper, 2 way pager does the job, simple air horns hooked up 1 in interior to blow someones ears, 3 under hood hidden. Kill switch, 2 hood pin switches, club lock, clutch lock. Again this doesnt guarantee but does slow down, if they F-Bed it then your out of luck but atleast I know i tried instead of putting stuff that screams "come get me bitches!"(EBP) lol

Id say security first before anything...u dont wanna spend all the money on rims and all that good stuff that u gonna get and somebody will just steal it. Rims and paint job is a nice thing to do to ur car but it could wait. Just my opinion
