Default help honda gurus....car starts but will run like its misfiring all cylinders....turbod

i have a civic coupe with a d16y8 custom turbo setup......the car's battery went dead because i had left it at a friends shop for 3 weeks to get it painted.......when i try and start the car, it runs but at very low idle, very rough like its misfiring all cylinders....vacuum is low around -3 when i know it should be -20.....oil pressure is also low....when i pulled the plugs, they were wet so i'm thinking that the motor is flooded....i have rc 550cc tuned on ectune.....i still have the problem and am thinking my dizzy went bad...i changed it last summer though....when you give the car throttle, it dies out.....the car will run and oil pressure will be fine when you hold the throttle body open, but vacuum is only arould -10.....any other suggestions?

take off your valve cover, and flip it over. you might need to replace those rubber o-rings because they might be bad, so then oil is able to slip through. and that may be the reason why your spark plugs are wet. do that first, and then get new plugs while you're at it.

check all your vac lines etc. something might have gotten disconnected when you were getting it painted.

get back to us..

yes a bad map sensor will cause you to have a CEL. Is there anyway that you could post a video up of the car dieing when you open the throttle. The only thing that i can think of is your tuning. I usually run just a FMU until i have it tuned. I ran a blox FMU on my last setup and drove it for about 500 miles before i had it tuned on Hondata.

i have been running the car for over 6 months tuned on ectune.....the car ran perfect....i left if over my friends shop for 3 weeks to paint it and fix all my dings and dents....when i went to get it, the battery was dead......battery is new and car starts, but doesn't want to run over 300rpm....very violent, feels like its misfiring every cylinder......when you hit throttle, the car dies out......
