Default 94 accord engine swap help

hey my friend's accord transmission just died. his 94 accord has about 190K on it. should he just get a new transmission or would it be more cost effective to get a new tranny and engine? his engine now seems alright for a while. but i think that he should just get an engine swap because his engine's crankshaft rattles a little due to worn main bearings allowing the crankshaft to have a little play. So what should he do? if an engine swap, what kind of engine and tranny will be close to about 2K and under? and where should he get it done? sorry i am pretty sure i could have searched for all this info but he is kinda short on time and really needs to make a move in the next few days. thanks.

at 2k your not gonna get an engine and tranny swapped in unless your doing it yourself. My advice get another f22 and tranny from a salvage yard with a warranty and install that.
