For some odd reason, 1200 bucks just fell into my pocket.
Now i'm running a stock jdm gsr tranny no lsd, i need something shorter i know.. my question or dilemma if u would, is this.
Do i
a) get a new itr/ctr/b16 tranny with lsd ?
b) get a new narrow smsp/rmf/bismoto header and make some mods to my exhaust to support a big collector?
c) your thoughts.
anything i'm entertaining here i have no idea right now, this just came as a sudden grace of god..

i would say get an itr 4.7 and an ls 5th gear, no reason to buy a fully itr tranny.
then use whats left for a hytch copy header, and then keep some for beer

I have a sparks race header, same **** as a edelcrap 2.
i'm not goin to buy a header i gotta mod 3.
Each dyno reads differently 4.

B16 trans with 4.7 FD ITR LSD Here and effin hate driving the car anymore. If you decide to go with a 4.7 trans I reccomend going with a LS 5th gear. I honestly dont even drive the car much anymore due to the "unrelaxed" feeling on the highway reving to the moon just to keep up with traffic.

Same here, but I imagine you make trips to the track, shows and meets correct? My trans WILL come apart AGAIN this winter for a 5th gear swap. Boo..... I am not excited, though it will be worth the trouble.
A sparks racing header is normally a copy of the SMSP design header not the Edelbrock. If you already have a header of that nature, I doubt you'll gain much by purchasing the real thing. That only leaves one other option...buy the ITR tranny with an LSD.
My suggestions:
1. I know your car is white, so a JDM front end would be sick.
2. How about ditch the gsr block and get a B20 with 85 or 86 mm sleeves?
3. Type 2 coilovers + rebuilding the gsr tranny with 4.9 FD and hardened gears.
Just sume suggestions

steve at hmotorsonline has a b16 tranny with a kaaz diff for 1000,a 97 itr for 1200, and a 99 itr for 1500, plus he's a great guy and will work with u

Why spend it at all....I'd put that sh*t in a 401k, savings account, or a mutual fund.
