Default Tubing/piping questions...

ok, i was looking for materials to build a manifold and i ran into a little dilema. am i looking for tubing or piping? what thickness should i get? what type, seamless or welded?

i was visiting acestainless.com and i noticed the tubing looked like something i'd use for a downpipe or something of the sort. i noticed the piping was a thicker material. let me know what i should be looking for and what are the differences between sch40,sch10, etc... 316.. u get the picture

thanks a lot!

2in sch 10 304stainless pipe weld els/tees/straight(nipples) for the manifold. Welded is WAY cheaper.

Downpipes and are typically made from 2.5-30 16gauge 304 stainless tubing.

PM Acestainless for the pipe. I dunno about the tubing off hand but if you search you should find someone on here.
