Default side molding

i need a side molding, anybody who has shaved theirs pm me

i don't think this post belongs here but i have posted on marketplace as wtb and nobody replied yet since like january :/

since it's tech related forum this will make it a reference for ppl who do not know what side molding looks like and where it is located, here it is on my whip:

just take the other ones off and patch the holes either yourself or at a body shop. I think it looks way better. can't wait to do that to mine

I have the molding, but it is milano red. I'd mail it in a padded envelope for $15 via paypal, which would pay for my supplies and the trip to the post office. In all honesty, you can find the correct color at

i have no color preference bcause i will paint it anyway to match the color.

you should shave them, its actually not that hard I did mine, just make sure you weld up the holes.. I also think I have seen your car you live in baltimore?

now, wat is ur question? if ur trying to get rid off it. go to a local shop and get if bondo.. i think price can go up to $300 to $500 it just depends which body shop u go to...

im not trying to get rid of them yet, im trying to find someone who has this piece so i could cover up the holes for now

I'm sorry man, I've just been looking for 8 months for a red one and it FINALLY popped up. If you're looking to paint one, they're easy to find. Just look for anybody parting out a 2-dr 3rd gen and you're set. Nobody really wants these, so anyone parting out a car would be crazy not to ship such a small part for what is basically unexpected free money. Good luck.
