i have a 90 integra ls, and i came across a cherry bomb and decided to buy it, i have heard from some people to return it and other people tell me to put it on, is it worth it? it's a glass package also, i can't tell if it's supposed to be a resonater or a muffler, i need opinions and answers fast please

 

Do you really want that attention? It will not add power.

It all depends what kind of sound you want.

They are a little on the loud side. They crack loud when your car's cold.

IMO it's a decent muffler b/c they're like $30

 

right now, i don't even have a muffler, i took the stock one off, will the cherry be louder than that? cuz without the stock muffler last night i got pulled over, now i have to see a ref, if i do put the cherry on i put in the back in place of the muffler right? not in place of the resonator

 

i thought they went in place of the resonator...but thats just me

 

Flashback to the 70's....
It will be much louder than a muffler. Just put the stock muffler back on.
My friend put a couple "glass packs" on his Charger and it sounded like ****. Get a straight pipe fart can before you run a cherry bomb.
And I believe these go in place of the resonator.

 

im looking at other forums and **** from different sites and half of the people say they give no power and the other have says they do, im ****** confused, also without spending a lot of money what should i do to my Ls for performance? i have headers, cut down fidanzo flywheel, custom clutch...i only have a few hundred bucks.....

 

and......so if i put the cherry bomb on, i put in place of the resonator and that's it? or should i connect it to the rest of the exhaust and the muffler (have the cherry bomb and the stock muffler) will it still be as loud?

 

This is definitely not a "power" upgrade. This is a super loud rice upgrade. Replacing your resonator with the glasspack is going to just make more noise. Your stock 1 1/2" exhaust is the bottleneck, not the resonator.

the glass pack will make you louder, nothing for power. you should return it and buy a intake.
