Hello I am a new member here. I got a 1997 del sol with 170,000 mi. and my driveability and mileage lately have gone to crap. I have gone over everything on this car. It acts like a huge vacuum leak but there isn't one. When cold the check engine light comes on. When I read the code it shows the primary oxygen sensor heator. After the car warms up I can clear the code out and the check engine light will stay off. I can smell the exsaust is rich. I got some ideas that it might
be the computer or the distributor. All the stuff on the dist. checked out good, the wires ohm out great. By the way I had E3 sparkplugs and the Bosch platnum made it run better. I have gone through 3 O2 sensors thinking they might have been bad but there not.
