im working with a 1990 crx si. car was running obd0 and had an ls motor then the car stopped running so my first thought was distributer. replacing the distributer did not do the trick. car will turn over just fine seems like it wants to start but it doesnt. not even starter fluid does the trick car is getting:
good spark,
fuel,
changed main relay,
checked all the fuses
changed batter
changed fuel pump
check fuel pressure
checked grounds
changed ecu
tried a friends distributer from a running car
compression on car is fine

ran out of ideas. sumone please help

 

I also checked the timing.

i checked and everything is TDC its perfectly timed

 

do you have power at the ECU? I would look at the ECU pinout chart and wiring diagram and check for power at the different pins especially the ECU power wire. Im sure if you search you will find a pinout chart for an LS motor

 

ecu has power.....

 

Have you checked your fuel pressure. I had a 91 Wagovan that was giving me fit's. It turned out to be the pressure regulator was not opening, which was putting to much pressure on the fuel delivery system. The fuel system ended up having a hose, in the fuel tank, which had separated, but not completely burst. Consequently it was not getting the right pressure or fuel delivery, to the injectors.

 

yes i have checked the fuel pressure and it is where it is suppose to be... any other ideas

 

What engine harness are you useing? HF or SI

 

SI engine harness
