p30 GSR
i currently found out that my old ECU got fried!! i had a p28 chipped and tuned to my gsr!!! the way i found that my ecu was messed up bc the ecu through a AIT code....so i rewired the sensor straight to the ecu and it didnt fix the problem...so the i tried flashing the ecu again, but it wouldnt flash.....a resistor from the ECU got fried...so now im running a a p30 ECU SiR on my GSR....the vtec kicks in hard and everything....but sometimes my car would turn off when just cruising....
i know that its just spitting fuel for a b16.....but is it bad?

yes it's bad to run a B16 set of maps on a B18.
Chip the P30 and drop in your P28 chip that's tuned.
also, ECUs don't just go bad, especially the IAT circuit. Best to find out why it popped before it happens again.

well the check engine will just pop on and i cant check because as soon as i turn off the car and try to check the light goes away!!! it trips me out.....and also sometimes it doesnt turn on...
you have some sort of wiring issue if it's doing that with a stock board p30. if it was a chipped ecu, then we could say it's potentially the ecu, but since it's doing weird things with a virgin ecu, then you definitely should review your wiring, the condition of such, etc.
