you cant tell really.. psi doesnt matter. shoot for a goal say 280 whp, then go from there, size of the turbo, tunning, it all takes a big part when it comes to how much whp urputtin down, i know gsr's with a good tune can take 300whp and thats around 10 psi safely.

350whp would be the max i'd shoot for on stock internals

Thankx for the info. So I guess I don't have to work on the internals since i am shooting for 280 whp.

300whp is pushing it...i dont think it will hold very long with 350whp...but 280 is good

Unless you have a really prominent tuner i'd keep it around ~300whp.

Shoot for power, not psi, different turbos will boost different amount of HP based on their trim size and what other work is done to the motor.

^ It doesnt matter "if your logic fails" thats retarted. Sound like Yoda or some ****. He said that its going to be a DD not some strip ready car thats driving on the road. I wouldnt want my daily to be pushed to the max every day that i drive it to school. I would stay under 300. But remember, this is his DAILY.

You wouldnt need to push your car to the max everyday if your just going to drive to school. There would be no need for full boost or to rev the car out.

From what i have learned i maybe wrong, but its tq u wanan look out for before ur slevees go. Some people say 280lbs tq is as much as the slevees can handle everyone is gonna give u differen answers. I know a couple guys that made a lil over 300whp and their cars lasted a lil over 2 years with them beating on the cars often. More important than how much boost and power u make u wanna go with a good(expierinced) tuner.

There are too many people making 600whp on stock bottom ends for that to make sense.

you really dont see that many because most people building a a setup to put out those numbers have a well built motor and very precisely setup turbo... and as a side note i dont think the sleeves are as big of a weak point as the rods

In the FI forum there's a list of at least 20 people with 400-600whp on stock bottom ends.

It's there, hard to find, but it's there.
