b20vtec issues help plz everyone on ht help

Default b20vtec issues help plz everyone on ht help

ok i swaped in a b20vtec n my 95 coupe and it turns on fine and idles at like 700 but when i go to rev it it dies i have to do babyy taps on the gas to get rpms to go up and once past 2000 it revs but sounds crappy what do u think the problem could be i thought dizzy another guy thought i may of got the map and tps swithed what do u think anything would help im at work so when i get home im going to try everything u guys say that could help me

for some reason my **** never throws code i think something wrong with my cluster or something

Check the bulb in the cluster.

could be a vacuum leak...make sure every hose is where its suppose to be. Make sure the bulb is not blown or you will never know if you have a cel

Could be swapped TPS and MAP sensor connectors.

turns out when i bought the car it never had a bulb in the check engine on the cluster so i put one in there and checked it out and it is throwing code one

One long blink or one short one.

code one is O2 sensor but I think you have more problems than that.

code ten (one long blink) is Intake air temp sensor. You definetly have more problems than just that one..

Did you check to see if you switched the tps and map yet?

its on long blink the car is reving fine all of a suden i reseted ecu

ok im throwing code 14 now i changed out my IAT sensor it was burnt out for real lol now its my IACV i think thats it

You may have the IAT and IACV connectors switched.

u dan goober had me all asking everyone bout that lol its coo well tried to drive the car lastnight drove like **** like its not even moving making all that vtec noise lol its ok till the check engine light comes on then down hill has a idle like if i had some cams u kno when it goes up and down when lighs on it goes 1200 to 1500 around there up and down
