Default auto swap ECU question.

So I picked up an auto 94 del sol s for a song, was plannin on puttin in a jdm d15b (or whatever that 1.5 sohc vtec motor is) in and keepin it auto for the sake of avoiding then headache with swapping to manual, what ecu would be used? Auto p28?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't bother with a 1.5. Not a whole lot of aftermarket support. I would go with any DOHC B series, or any 1.6 SOHC motor. Much better results you will have. Or you could go apeshit and put an H22 in it. Boo on the 1.5.

either a chipped p28 with p08 maps or a P08. P08 runs the D15B vtec

I spent less than 1k on this car, and need a daily not another project, I'm keeping it on the easy and cheap, so no B, H, F, or K. That being said I am open to a d16, but in the event that I can't find one in good enough shape for cheap enough price a d15 would be choice 2. I also know if I put a d16 vtec in it I use an auto p28 and its done. I'm asking about what ecu to use in the event I can't find a d16 and go d15. Aftermarket support is not as much a concern as squeezing every last drop of fuel economy I can out of this thing.

Anyone? Ecu?
