i ahve a 89crx, but I thought i would throw this in here now, because its is from a gsr engine with a p28 ecu. im converting my car to obd1 and i have a stock 1st gen b16a exhaust manifold with the 2 o2 sensors located in the back of it(facing the front of the block) Now my question is will it be ok if i put the new 4 wire o2 sensor there?? also when i get my jdm dc header will it have a place for the o2 on the collector???? and will it be ok to put it there. I have also searched this forum and have found mixed answers.....some say that obd1 o2 senors go to the cat(like a 94 gsr) then others say they go the header?? I thought only 0bd2 required an o2 at the cat?? well i would apreciate any info on this subject.
