im putting a hydraulic b-series tranny in my CRX with an electric VSS. what are my options to get the speedo working properly? swap out the electric VSS for a speedometer gear? are they interchangeable?

 

dont mean to thread jack but i have the same question, and i was wondering, is the vss CABLE for an automatic crx the same as a vss CABLE for a manual? i was looking in to buying a cable driven vss on e-bay for an integra but it has 2 ports comming out of it that look like they needs to be connected to some sort of hoses which i do not have, i have a 94 y80 gsr tranny so which vss should i be looking for?

 

If you are keeping the original cluster, you can use the D series VSS on the hydro tranny. No need to rewire anything.

why is the automatic different?
I have never worked on an outomatic one.

 

so you mean take out the gear VSS from the d-series tranny and it will fit on the b-series hydro tranny?
