leavin for the track soon...psi in tires???
i have a 94 integra...the tires i will be running are 205/40/16 sport compact said you should run about 25 in the front and 60 in the back...what do you guys say?
60 in the back sounds pretty excessive. 60 is probably higher than your maxrated. Check your sidewall for the maxrated, subtract 5 psi, and run the rears at that.
25 in the front sounds reasonable.

i ran 24/42 tonight with ridn... i was doing 2.4 60 foot times on crappy tires in my eclipse gs.... i took over a second off of my time since i last ran.. going from stock to intake, muffler, and stripped interior. i ran a 16.2, but i could have hit high 15's if it would have been 10 degrees cooler.
it was 90 degrees and there was a 10 mile an hour head wind... and the 3000 ft elevation.... = SLOW TIMES

only if tire is max loaded at 1200 lbs PER tire.
60 psi is fine in the rear tires for trips down the 1/4 mile. I take a air tank to the track to air the backs up before racing, and to air the fronts up after racing.
Make sure to adjust the rear pressures down before hitting the streets for home.
