Default Are the axles from a OBD0 SIR B16a1 in a CRX the same as 2000 SI?

I need to know if the driver side axle is the same... 2 people told me that the haft shaft was different than the 00 Civic SI

Anyone clarify? I dont wanna goto Schucks and get the wrong part

edit:

k i just realized that the car is cable tranny and 00 si is hydro

so would i use a 90-93 DA integra gsr driver side axle then?

You can't mix and match because of the intermediate shaft.
The shaft changed in 94 and DA and DC axles are not interchangeable because of that. If you have an SiR Intermediate shaft(S1, YS1) then you need a DA axle. Now. If you have a Y1 intermadiate shaft, then for get it, you can't use that shaft with any US axles, it will be a bit too long.
You can only use the Y1 shaft with the axle that came originally with it from Japan on a CRX.
