OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW.
Me and my friends swapped out my motor over the weekend thought I would share
Here is my old set up its a 99 gsr cylinder # 3 wont hold any pressure

so we started buy removing the old motor


with the old motor out we decided to remove some parts that we would be using on the new motor



I decided to go with the B16b CTR motor i thought it would work well with my ITR trans

who needs a cherry picker when you have a fork lift

Finished product



I stiil have to get some new radiator hoses and clean the bay up hopefully tomorrow I can go get it tuned and see what kind of numbers it puts down i am going to use crome pro let me know what you guys think
Bone stock ctr with b16 intake manifold and maybe b16 cams. I am not sure they dont look like ctr cams on the dyno. I think the manifold or the cams is robbing power. I will be going back some time this week with skunk stage 1s and skunk2 intake manifold
Thanks to chris at whitfield racing the motor was still able to put down good numbers for what it is
