not necessary

crx si e brake cables are preferred. teg cables are longer but will still work.

drum brake cables hook up to the drums differently than to calipers.

but definately get 1991 si brake lines, stainless steel with a 40/40 proportioning valve will give awesome brake pedal feel!

Si cables are disc brakes, CRX and HF brakes are drum. It will not work to put drum cables on a disc.

I have gotten the brake lines off with no issues just have a little WD40/Liquid wrench/etc with you are something but I have never burnt anything to get it unstuck when dealing with brakes.

Yeah, 90-91 CRX Si's were the only EF's that came with rear discs. If you want the e-brake cables to fit properly you'll need the ones from a 90-91 CRX Si. You can use the DA teggy ones, but they're too long and hang pretty low and can rub on the trailing arm etc. I've done it with no problem, but the Si cables are definately fit MUCH better if you can get them.

And for your wrench issues, you need to get crow's foot or flare nut wrenches.

Look like this:

thanx alot! ill get those crow feet or flare nut wrenches today and go back to the junkyard....well its gonna be hard to find 90-91 si ebrake cables...then i can just hide the cables or tuck it somewhere where it wont get in the way of anything then i guess right?

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't only the 91 CRX SI come with rear disc and not the 90? I got a 90 CRX SI with no rear disc, maybe previous owner sold them

Just take your chode sucking *** into the bathroom and fill the tub with warm water.

Then get a razor blade and cut from your wrist to your elbow.

Then hop in the tub and wait for that warm fuzzy felling to overwhelm you.

IF THAT DONT WORK, SHOOT YOURSELF IN THE ******* HEAD.
