alright swapped an obd1 d back into my ob2 EK for the winter while i build the B up and when i connect the power to the battery a part of my trans lightly sparked near the clutch vents and then my battery fuse went.

any clue guys?

Check your grounds. The one to the battery is probably not connected properly. The spark you saw near the tranny was the ground that goes to the tranny trying to compensate.

Clean up and make sure all ground in the engine bay are tight and in good shape.

 

or a positive from your starter is grounding out

how could this be happeneing? is the little clip connector on the other side of the starter the ground? how can i solve this

 

No, that BLK/YEL wire that is smaller than the other starter wires is the solenoid pull in wire, it is a high load wire, shorting it out will blow the batt fuse quickly.

Well, are the start power wire and ground on the starter itself all hooked up correctly? That BLK/YEL wire has a small connector on the starter solenoid casing, make sure it tight. Might also want to look for breaks in the starter power wire from the battery to the starter.

 

The starter ground wire that connects to the side of the solenoid is securely connected. And besides that ground there is only one other connection for the main power and such wich is also connected.

the valvecover ground is connected and the trans ground is connected along with the rest of the harness grounds

 

Is your alternator chargeback wire connected? (WHT/RED)

I would start with the starter wires if it was me.

 

should i try to disconect the start ground wire from the bay harness and ground it directly to the chasis? or what else regarding the starter

 

battery main power is correctly connected

Are you sure that you wired everything correctly? I'd just start tracing wires, there's nothing else that you really can do.

well after trouble shooting eveyrthing i have already blown anothet two fuses testing to see if it going to stop blowing and still havnt solved the issue

Buy a new pos terminal cable - your short is there.

It's like 30 bux from honda. Problem solved.

^Ya or not, did you connect the white wire to the alternator? It is the one held on by a 10 millimeter nut
