Civic Ex knuckle problem...
Hi!!
I have problem to find those Civic 90-91 EX sedan knuckle for my brake upgrade, i live in Canada and the Honda dealer told me there was no 90-91 EX sedan with rear disk brake (in Canada)!!!!
Is there someone who had the same prob i have???
It's probably a Us model...damn i'm not lucky the EX sedan i found are the same than i have on my 88 CRX Si, compare to the pic i found on the web they are not the same. I have already bought the Prelude rotor (redrilled 4X100) and the wagon caliper and i need 1/4" to clear the 11.1 disk.
My other option is the 90 Teg knuckle, i know they trow off the geometry but how bad????
I've read somewere they are longer than the EX is that supposed to give me more positive camber???
Right now i have 2" drop and -1.5 of neg. maybe with the Teg knuckle will compensate my neg. camber???? is there any options???
I need your advise
Thank!
Dan

90-91 EXs dont have rear disk in the US either. its their front 10.3" brakes, thats good.
rear disk can come from any 90-91 crx si, 90+ integra, or 92+ civic si/ex.

Canada never got EX models, even when we dis (92+) they are only LX models with few extra options
so you would not be able to get the suspension at the dealership
your move would be to go to a JDM distributor and get some 90-1 Civic/CRX SiR knuckles or 90-3 integra knuckles
integra knuckles are actually not that bad with a proper adjustments it will work very well on the street and track

I hope your right for the EX front disk 10,3" thats what i need.
This brake size is standard on all EX 90-91???
I know the 92 models (with ABS) came with rear disk.
The 92 EX knuckle fit on a CRX 88-91???? Good question.
Thanks
