I have no idea how to swap it out, but just wanted to say that the ignition switch was the subject of a recall.

You may want to check with your local dealer to see if your particular vehicle was included and, if so, whether the work was done. The remedy was that the dealer would replace the ignition switch at no cost to the consumer.

but like heat say check your local honda to see if your car can be fixed for free because of the recall.

from my experience ask the dealership to see the old ignition switch they might not change out the switch.
