rpm stays up when pulling to a stop and then drops when car stops.
hello everyone.
when i'm pulling to a stop and leave the gas the rpm drops to 1000 rpm insted of 750 until the car is fulley stopped, and then after a second or two it drops back to 750.
what could it be?
iacv?
iacv dutycycle?
using p28 with crome.
thanks

my car does the exact same thing. not the exact same rpms but really close and I dont think it has anything to do with a flywheel cause I just replaced mine and it has always done that

Do you have a chipped P28? Or a chipped ECU with crome? I was thinking it was something to do with the programming and the VSS.

Sounds to me like your throttle is sticking open a bit. It happened to the worn-out motor I had in my civic with 220k miles on it. (no matter how much cleaner and lube i used on it, it still stuck like that)

The idle is always higher when you're rolling, and drops once you stop. Stock cars do the same thing...It is in case you have to slam on your brakes, you don't stall the motor and loose vacuum. (not to mention there is just "more" vacuum)
