help on sir headlight wiring

Default help on sir headlight wiring

does anyone know how to hook up the wires from the SIR headlight to the usdm wiring?

the sir connection has 2 blue wires and one black.

help prefered from those who hooked up their zc headlamps and sir headlamp

or if u just know.

It took me awhile but I figured it out you need 2, 5 prong automotive relays. Just read it and you should be able to figure it out

its sound correct man

and i think u are right on using relays and on how u are trying to say that once a high beam is on its just the highbeam and not the lowbeam @ the same time.

i thought that i could just connect everything w/o a relay but then it wud burn the bulb.


ill take a trip to autozone now lol

no just google an automotive relay and you will see how it works. I hooked it up the way I described and it works fine. Everyone on this forum said to just straight wire it but that would leave both filaments on and if you do a lot of high beam usage( I live in the sticks so sometimes its on for 1 hr. straight)it will burn the bulbs out super quick. If you have the h4h bulbs they are not cheap or easy to come by either. I actually got the euro sir(VTi) headlights that are glass and not plastic and have a motor to adjust the beam. They use regular H4 bulbs as well.
