Try using the clutch to control the amount of power you put down on the launch. Don't just drop it, let it out to half way quickly and then all of the way out. Use the gas to control wheel spin. Also get adjustable shocks and if it continues try motor mount inserts. All of my wheel spin went away when I got AGX adjustables.

Energy suspension motor bushings help a lot too, and they're pretty cheap.

The wheel hop is coming from too aggressive of a launch. You need to get grip first. Just ease off the gas and feather the clutch a bit. It's either your clutch going or your transmission because all the wheel hop isn't good for your motor. The suspension and motor mounts might help to reduce the wheel hop but initially don't launch too high. I've only gone to the drag strip with my prelude once and I found out that launching at 4k is ideal but you have to feather the clutch just a bit. I only got 3 runs that day due to rain. The fastest time was a 15.3 and the other two times I tried dumping the clutch and then the wheel was hopping like crazy, my air freshners even shot out of the vents into my friend's face...that was funny. Every run I had a passenger in my car. I don't care for drag races but I just wanted an idea what the car would do stock.

wheep hop is like one of the worst things you can do to your car What I do that really reduces it is to ease into the beginning of the launch more..... In other words i slip the clutch just a tiny bit and get moving first while i still have the RPM. After I get moving then I start the full out launch. wheep hop is bad

edit: whoops i just read the others' posts and i guess others already responds with the same suggestions...my bad =P

The idiotic track that I went to was Milan Dragway up in Michigan. Just a question though, why is it stupid to have a passenger in your car when you drag race? I mean, I understand that there's safety issues but my car isn't even in the 14s. I know for sure that they require helmets if you break into the 13s. On the safety issue, some clubs allow passengers at autox events...it's really preference...but I would like to know why you posted that. Thanks.
