Default Tit. Retainers ??

I had these on my B16a because I new I would be revving way past the stock limiter and I had big cams.
I am now building a "Mild" B20 engine in which I would like to replace the cams some day for performance ones.
I now that above certain spec. dual valve springs are needed to prevent coil bind, so I now I have to upgrade. I dont plan on reving past the stock limiter so I dont feel its necessary to buy Titanium retaimers! Is my thinking correct? The only reason Tit retainers are used is to reduce weight on the valve train at high RPMs, right?

sorry somewhat OT:
Tit. retainers = bra

The chemical abbreviation fro titanium is Ti.
And, you probably won't need them if you're not reving very high (past indicated red line)
Hehehe, that was a really witty reply!
