what is the best way to paint civic door handles. how do you take them off. can you paint them while they are still on the car. please respond.

 

I would definately remove them to paint them. You could paint them while on the vehicle, but you won't get the edges well and may have some peeling in the future. To get the handles off you'll need to take off the interior trim piece, then usually 2 nuts on the back of the handle and a horse shoe clip, un-clip the handle rod.
