need help..weird noise with my tranny.

I just swapped the tranny in my d15b. when in second gear it sounds like something is winding up..but every other gear you don't hear anything. any ideas on this??

could be a synchro going our or throwout bearing. does it grind at all?

no grinding what so ever. it shifts smooth but its the only gear making a winding noise the higher the RPM's get.

if it doesnt grind then it probably isnt a synchro. it is probably your throw out bearing. did u replace that when u did your tranny?

reused the old one..the one that was on the tranny was not moving when you tried to spin it..
