Laguna seca has a sound limite to a 92bd, 99% of the car there don't passed the sounds check , our dc has a silencer and its still too lound for them

the white run hasn't ran on the road course since last year, I don't think it will be on anytime soon, however we will try to drag it next month in vegas

Most tracks have a decibal limit, if you exceed the limit you can be penalized which hurts your efforts as it adds time to your fastest laps. The Decibal reader is in a fixed location on either the outside wall or inside wall of one of the straights typically.
Since its common knowledge which side the reader is going to be on, the teams will point the exhaust in the opposite direction to help muffle and hide the sound of the exhaust so as not to over exceed 92 decibals
