Default 17's On a Del Sol?

Smallest they come in is 17's, pretty sure that is too big for my Del Sol, but I wanna get some of your opinions?

Or does anyone know a brand that makes VERY similar wheels to these? In 15 / 16's?

Thanks for your input!

Your car lowered any? (from stock height)

Hows it handle bumps and pot holes and such? Get alot of contact from your wheel?

Ya my car is lowered.. The front is like a 1 finger gap and the rear is 2. The front tires rub when you turn hard so thats sucks. Also I have been fine with going over bumps and potholes.

Hrm, maybe if I just throw 17's on w/o lowering it, will be good with no clearence issues.

Anyone else have some input?

When I bought my car it had 17s, and the first thing I did to it was lower it on some shocks and H&R springs....didn't have any rubbing issues, but my next mod was new wheels and tires

i suggest 15's or 16's, then you can slam it and probably wont have a problem with rubbing at all

Yeah, the only problem is I can't find a wheel that looks similar to the one I orginally posted in 15 / 16.

Anyone know of any?

metalic lip / black spokes - with similar style spokes

Not to be an ***, but the rims you have pictured up there are a 6 bolt pattern for a truck.

Do these rims come with a 4x100 bolt pattern? If not, you won't find these for yer sol, unless you do an awesome conversion from an H2

It would make sense to me, since the smallest are 17 inches

I drove with a few different sizes on my sol and 16" is what I found to be best so far.

17" are generally heavier, and I think the sidewall is too stiff for the weight of the car. You don't get enough tire flex when you accelerate and it gives poor acceleration. Again, flexibility of your side wall will affect cornering. Too stiff and you keep sliding around, too soft and it gets scary. Braking s*cked with 17s

16" Overall the greatest so far.

15" Awesome acceleration, a little too much flex in the twisties. Maybe a better tire would have overcome the tire flexing, such as a Rt-615. Braking was awesome with these.

14" Great for winter driving but that's it.

No those aren't 6-bolt wheels. What you see there are the screws for the center cap. Behind that cap is where it bolts up to the car.

Yeah they come in 4x100, still no luck in finding anything like this under 17" though

17's on a sol make it look gayer than it already is.

17's are alright, I had 17's on my hatch for a bit.. but its two different worlds when your running on a 16 in, or 15 in wheel. The car is alot more smoother and you've got better feel as well.

o really ?? thats why you told me my car looked good (over msn)

Also I suggest you get 16" it looks better on a sol and I noticed my car feels slower with them on(17'). I used to have 15" and they looked too small but it felt faster and was more comfortable.
