i was in some what of an accident. i rear ended a SUV at 5MPH. fortunate for the SUV there was no damage, but my car was. i need to open the hood to see what other damage there is, but i can't seem to pop it, any suggestions?

 

have someone sit on it as you pop it. Pop it and have someone try to push it up or down or whatever. Cut it since it's allready fucked up. Hit it with something. It may not open it....but it will make you feel better.

What kind of car is it? If it's an EK, you can reach in thru the grille (you have to break it) and take off the hood latch all together via the 10mm bolts.

i'm going to cut it open, thanks guys. it's a 89 accord.

 

Not that I know 89 accords...but can you get to the bolts that secure the latch itself?
Is that gen accord hood latch setup similar to ef's?
