Im looking to go with a gsr in either a coupe or eg civic. If the compression test come out good on the engine, I was looking to bolt-on the edelbrock victor x turbo kit. Does anyone out there have a set-up similar to that? likes/dislikes? and also I would def. get a good tune afterwards and run it at 5-8psi because this will be my only car. I also was looking at just going with a mild NA set-up with bolt-ons with cams/camgears, clutch, hondata(or something) and a type-r tranny. good? bad? Any advice out there would be very helpful.

 

if CARB legality isnt an issue there are better kits out there than the edelbrock. or you could piece together your own.

how much power are you trying to make and what's your budget?

 

this guy sounds like he is just talking for the hell of it, too many different things....

 

im not tryin to make a crazy amount of power, just about 220-250whp because it will be my only car, so reliability is very important for me. And im looking to spend no more than 5500-6000 total for everything (excluding the cost of the car) I just want something fun and reliable, and im just looking @ different options i have im not just talkin for the hell of it.

 

For 5500 a reliable 250whp on a b18c1 is easily attainable.

Drop it off at a shop, hand them $4000.
