Just joined the ranks of Hybrids
Yeeeehaaaaaa, just sold my GSR sedan and kept my motor (swap items) to put into my gutted and beefed up '92 CX.
The removal of the GSR swap, then removal of the CX oem motor, then swapping in the GSR setup took a while, to say the least...
Hmmm, 3.5 hours with a buddy to remove gsr swap.
then 3 hours alone to remove cx setup.
then another 2 hours alone to swap in gsr.
---->note I work slowly since I knew I had three motor changes to do... but ouch I'm sore... I'm just not used to all this wrenching at one time! But hells yes its worth it! I'll post pics once I get it runnin' around town, hope its set for a debut at the scca autox sunday

Yep, all hand tools...
-pulled my GSR motor wednesday night with aLmoSt-vtec's help.
-pulled my CX motor thursday morning
-dropped in the GSR motor thursday night but stopped when some cuties paid a visit.
-today after work I finished connecting/double checking everything, bolted up the front mounts, ECU, Spoon header and filled up the fluids.
-started her up and she ran like a CHAMP! took a spin around the block, wow that car pulls HARD! Now I want to get an ITR exhaust cam, valvetrain and a JUN stage 2 intake cam... nicey nice
The only bad news was I couldnt get my balljoints off the A-arms! so I cant install my teg knuckles and Fastbrakes ITR setup (drats!)
Hand tools made it very time consuming indeed, but overall I am surprised how easy it is to:
1) remove a CX motor
2) install a GSR motor with no-power-steering and no-AC.
