Default speedo needle all over the place after fitting vtec controller

I've just fitted an r spec vtec controller to my JDM integra Si, i already had a blitz kmh-mph convertor attached to the speedometer. before i fitted the vtec controller the speedo needle rose smoothly to the speed limiter at 120mph. the vtec controller de-limits the car but now over 100mph the needle is bouncing all over the place and above 120mph it bounces between 130-150mph, BTW this was tested on a closed road...anyone have any idea what the hell is going on? maybe i should just remove the convertor as who needs to look at the speedo at speeds over 120mph?

The speedometer, VTEC, and alternator circuits are all linked in many VTEC Hondas. Check your wiring and make sure everything is hooked right. Some cirsuits also require resistors I am told. Not 100% sure though.

Good Luck.
