Default V-TEC Help!!!!!

hey well... im new.. and i just wanted to know if anyone has had problems with their vtec???? if you did please let me know!!!!!! thanks!!!!

i hooked up a scanner and got the code...... P1259=vtec system malfunctioning!!!! i dont know if anyone has had that problem!! if anyone did you think you can help???? thanks!!!

he should also check and make sure his vtec decal is properly in place aswell.

maybe ur in limp mode and something is deathly wrong with ur car.. u should take it to a shop or the dealership instead of asking here.. we cannot fix ur vtec

most likely your v-tec fluid is low, you should probably get it checked out asap or you'll have to get a new v-tec.

well thanks everyone....... like one of the guys said i just bought a new one...... came out kinda cheap...... i thought it was going to be really expensive but not really!!!once i put the new one on..... it worked perfectly and no more codes on the ECU...... thanks for all the help everyone!!!!!!!.........

I'll have to try that next time... but seriously have you ever drove a v-tec with some power? Specially with (brace yourself this is going to sound ricey) dohc vtec, quite cool sounding, open her up nice and wide, cool feeling to be pushed back in your seat half-way through the band.
