i'm looking for cams for my ep3, any suggestions

crower cams is what I went with. with no tune they added 14 or 16 whp. Also you wont need to get new springs valves or retainers.

 

yea, i think i am going to go with crower cams but i dont know where to find them. i tried looking but i'm not having any luck

 

If you live in SoCal and are worried about passing our lovely smog test go with the Skunk 2 stage 1 cams. I know they dont give you the most power but they do work well and if your car is really taken care of you should have no problems at the smog station.

 

haha i am a fan of skunk2 but i dont have to worry about any smog tests. i live in the desert plain of idaho. i'm just wondering where i can even get cams, i cant find a website that sells them for my ep3

 

Go to Skunk 2 website and ask them for online stores and or a local shop. I have a friend with the Stage 1 on a K20A3 and KPro with CAI, DCRH and Skunk 2 exhaust and he is getting like 185hp - 195hp depending on fuel in wonderful SoCal. I also think he got the valve train done. Hope this helps.

 

do a A3 frankstein... A2 cams.. get the rocker assembly also.. runs about 300 to 400 used. go to k20a.org and they have a full write up about it.. nice gains also

If you have K20A3(stock engine) then u can only choose between skunk 2 and brian crower
