Default Just Got A Nikon D50, First Shot Of Car and Some editing....

Just got the D50 about 3 days ago, popped in a 2GB SD Card, and recharge-able batteries... This was the first one of my car, after changing the aperture a little bit and then I went into Picture Project (Nikon Software) to try to give it the HDR look... It's too hot out side to mess with settings to get a real "HDR" image, maybe later on today, but I was pouring sweat when I took this pic, with a wife-beater on and some gym shorts so yeah....

Lemme know what you think..

It looks like he tried to make it "Wallpaper size" by modifying the images sizing, instead of cropping.

Yeah, from the Nikon it's like 3008 x 20xx so, I just resized to 1280 x 1024, and then changed it from there...

yeah, you gotta work on resizing it...its squished on the sides. You just need more time behind the lens. Where did you get yours..?

my little sister can do the same with her kodak point and shoot.

honestly buying a dslr doesnt instantly make you a pro however, you gotta start somewhere.

He nor anyone else said anything about him being a pro.

I dont see how he messed up the resolution like he did though.

Your pics will get better once you get used to it.

Avoid squishing the image by making sure the check box to constrain the proportions is checked. I dunno about Nikon software but in photoshop there is a box for it. Just type in H or W and the software will calculate the other automatically so you don't get a wonky squished image. Then if it's still not the size you want, crop. Better to lose some of the image than to have a squished image.

Why rock an ITR wing on an otherwise stock (maybe lowered?) Integra? Kills the clean look imo.

Step one. Resize image to 1280x(whatever) Keeping scale intact.

Step two. Crop the height to 1024 pixels.

HDR images are best during sunset.

Maintain the aspect ratio when resizing.
