months ago i bought a short shifter for my 98 civic, but never really had the time to put it on. with it just laying around the house, i managed to lose the nut and bolt and the spacers for it. i was reading a thread here awhile ago, and it said i can use the factory nut and bolt, but we needed to use the spacers. does anyone know what size spacer i can use to finally install it and where i can buy some? input is appreciated.

will work fine, but on some of these short shifters, especially ebay specials, the linkage is way wider than the shifter, so when you tighten the bolt, the linkage begins to bend.

you can take the bolt off and go to any hardware store and buy a couple of washers that the bolt can run through. problem solved.
