neuspeed rear lower tie bar for crx, anyone have one?
i have a neuspeed rear lower tie bar, and i tried to put it on today and i had a lot of trouble getting it on, and it is not on right now. I could not figure out why it would not go on very well, and the bolts were not goin in right. On the box it says 92-95 civic and 94-01 integra and i dunno if it is supposed to fit my car or not.
Any input or does anyone have it onto there car?
Thanks,
Matt

Yes they can be difficult to put on. The problem can be the bolt itself. If you noticed the OEM bolt you took out is tappered at the end. It is very easy to slip through and start the threads on the back side. The taper acts almost like a self starting/tapping screw would. The aftermarket bolts that come with the bar have a squared end so no help is given by the bolt when atempting to start it. Also the arm has a tendency to "pop" out of location when the original bolt is removed. You need a large pry bar and maybe a friend to help align the lower arm back up and get the bolt through and started. I have done the "ghetto trick" on two bars that I instaled and that was to take the aftermarket bolts to the grinder and create my own taper on the ends. I then tapped them through and then started them. Make sure you have the endlinks adjusted right so you can get the bolt started straight.
HTH,
HTH,
Are the stock bolts to small?? Im buying this soon, and am curious......If the stock bolts go back in adn will reach to bolt up, cant you use them?
