Pics of "Rollcages" in '92-'95 Civic HB?
i dont have any pics but i did put an 8 point weld in cage in my 94 civic coupe, so if you have any questions let me know. just watch for the fuel lines when the supports go in, cause the undercoating likes to burn
...and if you're TAC welding it yourself, remove your ECU (take out of car) before you ground your TAC welder, otherwise you'll fry it.

Mine's not quite as nice as Spicy's, but it'll do on a budget. The car is a '94 DX hatch ITA race car. There's nothing better than buying a perfectly good street car and ripping the crap out of it to race. I have Spoon mirrors and they might be useless with the front bars like that
let me know if it does cos i need to get a cage too
OK, saw your prep photos. Looks like you used the dry ice technique. What did you use to remove the leftover resedue after the tar removal. And did you re-paint the floor afterwards, or did it just come off that clean. Thanks for the help.
Custom-fit welded cages are typically safer and fit better, but the cost is more than double.
I used dry ice late, after most of the tar was already removed. I wish I would've had it earlier. I soaked the floor afterwards in 3M Adhesive Remover to get most of the residual goo off. It wasn't perfect, but it didn't have to be. And yes, I spray painted it.
This is about as good as it got.

Is that daily driven or is it strictly a track car? My car is somewhat gutted except for my back panels, but I'm not sure if I should remove them because I drive it daily.
