I have a 2000 SI w/gsr b18c and i was driving it around right now and it would shut off as soon as i would kick it in neutral. it sounded and felt like the idle was really low and my lights would dim to. what do you think?

 

might be and alternator.... do a voltage check

 

it could be the altenator but i think it would do it when he is going also check your idle see what it is set at

 

adjust the idle ?
