Man i need help, i need my car fixed by monday!!!
Alright guys i need some help. My car (1990 civic ex Auto) is acting weird on me. WEll it starts up sometimes the car runs, but say i turn it off and try to turn it back on it doesnt want to start. Ive check my distributor, i replaced it about a year ago and nothing. Well after a while it didnt want to turn on at all, so my girls dad gave me a jump start with his truck and it turned on right away. So it seems like jump starting it starts it right up. Sometimes it shuts down after a while of being on. I need some help guys
Update: WEll i checked the cables and all is good. Let me just clarify my situation. So basically the car wont turn over with out a jump start. If theres no jump start the car will just be strugging to turn.

I'm pretty sure its your batery terminals or another ground issue. I had the same problem with 2 other cars. clean the terminals and make sure the connections are tight.
I had a similar problem. My car would not reliably start but it turns out that the battery was the culprit. Make sure the terminals are corrosion free and put some vasaline on them to prevent future corrosion.

What about the alternator? Autozone will check them for you.
