hi, i have heard that the 99-02 ex v6 accords has alot of problems with its transmissions. i'm second owner of a 99 ex v6 accord coupe it's currently driving fine right now with 83k miles on it. i'm just wondering is it worth it to sell it to a dealer for 5k and get something else before i have to spend 3K on fixing the transmissions later on? from wut i have heared that the transmission problems "WILL" occur on every v6 accord 99-02, is that true? thanx.

 

if i were you i would try and sell your accord to a private party 1st...if you do this you could get up to $8,480....if you were to trade the car in the dealer would turn around and sell it for at least $10,500...you can find all this info here --->http://www.kbb.com/ hope this helps

 

hey man....ya i have the same problem i think my trans is gonna go out on me too...i have a 01 accord ex v6 an my trans is grinding...i found out wen i was changing my trans oil an all the grinded metal peices got cought by the megnetic screw were u drain the trans oil....but im gonna probably rebuild my trans or get me a new rebuilt trans for 1200...
